Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says “what a fortnight” it has been since the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
“Two weeks of witnessed history, pomp and ceremony, a genuine outpouring of gratitude and grief, such respect for a life of service for the true icon of our time,” he said.
Mr Hardgrave said the Queen’s passing has “exposed the dividers and the unifiers in our society” as Australia has had the opportunity to come together over the death of the Queen but some did not.
“We have also seen some react poorly, exploiting the death of Her late Majesty, they are the grotesque and gauche, lacking good grace and decency – ugly, uncalled for, the repugnant Left.”
